This is a known issue in there was a settlement on a lawsuit related to the problem for this year model and make vehicle and Toyota was responsible to fix the problem at no cost to the customer.  I called the Toyota dealership and is being told that there is no outstanding recall for this issue for this VIN#.  The fact remains that the vehicle has this safety issue and I\u2019m asking for the repairs to be done at no cost to me.
