The jeep literally shut off on me when I was driving on a MAIN road at 45 miles an hour. This happened to me 3 times yesterday  I had no safe place to pull over. I was stuck in the middle of the road with hazards on hoping no one would crash into me! I looked up recalls for my jeep and there is a recall for a cracked oil component on this jeep. But it's saying no recalls on my jeep! I looked at the symptoms of it and did some research and apparently the car shutting off is a symptom of that. I bought this jeep last year and have spent hundreds of dollars trying to diagnosis the problem but always ended up with an oil change a month after I've already had one.
