After doing an oil change every 3,500k miles, it started to turn on recently. I\u2019ve checked the oil and everything seems to be fine. I\u2019ve seen multiple forums with others having the same defect and since the car is made in Korea, Korea has a recall for the same exact issue.Some people are being turned away from shops because of the location of oil pressure sensor but also cracking the aluminum the sensor sits in or in some the timing cover. Although the sensor only turns off when the car is higher rpm\u2019s and driving, it\u2019s still annoying to deal with when it\u2019s a common defect with genesis but yet not a recall.
