It was found by the dealer service department that the rear motor was damaged also. I am not aware of the speed of the car when the incident occurred.  On November 22 I was told that the axle and rear motor had been repaired.  I assume the other axle was not replaced as well.  Previously on September 7, 2024 the car was brought to Genesis of Everett (now Genesis of Kirkland) both rear axles were replaced after a recall indicating a manufacturing fault in the axles.  There have been no warning lights, messages or other indications that the fractures were imminent.  During the incident there was a loud noise and loss of propulsive power.  There were no injuries reported.
