Moisture in the ABS module could disable the ABS and/or Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system(s). The lack of a functioning ABS and/or ESC system(s) could change the braking and/or handling characteristics of the vehicle and cause a crash without warning.  Dodge has confirmed that the ABS connector was cleaned and heat shrink was added to this vehicle on Jan 4, 2016.  However in October 2024 the ABS module (part number 68194693AF) on my Dodge Journey failed and required replacement.  I was required to pay out of pocket for this safety hazard.  .","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2014","productMake":"DODGE","productModel":"JOURNEY","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
