The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, it was noticed that the battery percentage was excessively draining. The charger port warning light was illuminated. The contact attempted to depress the brake pedal however, the vehicle failed to decrease in speed; the vehicle suddenly became difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was veered onto the sidewalk and the front driver's side of the vehicle crashed into a street lighting junction box. There was cosmetic damage however, the air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained several injuries including emotional distress, back pain, and neck pain; the contact was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance to seek medical attention.
