There would be a 3 to 4 second delay in the transmission engaging with the drive shaft and when contact was made there's a hard thump that's felt throughout the car.   I returned to the dealership and made a complaint about the issue I was having with the transmission and a transmission re-tune was done according to the service technician, but the problem is still persistent. I took it back to the dealership and was told by the service manager that Dodge is aware of the issue customers are having with the transmissions and have stated that the issue is due to fluid fiction and it's normal for the transmissions to respond that way.  I don't believe that it's normal for a brand new car to shift that way. Plus it poses a massive safety risk for the driver and other people in the event that the car backs out into traffic and has to wait 3 to 4 seconds before the transmission engages that delay doesn't stop oncoming traffic and doesn't prevent a severe accident from occurring.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2023","productMake":"DODGE","productModel":"CHARGER","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
