Oil pooled up on top of engine casing channel below intake plenum and dripped down to electrical connectors that go into transmission.  Engine oil heated and smoked because of heated motor and smoke goes into vehicle cabin causing oil smoke film inside with occupants.  Oil mist is in the inside windshield and outside windshield along with wipers.  There is a recall for this year journey 2015 this year engine 3.6 vet and transmission combination fwd 6spd ;however, the Vin number is not applying to correct the oil cooler and filter replacement under a recall. There is an upgraded part made that does not fail S44 recall; however I had to pay full price for the repair at a dealership and they replaced with the upgraded recalled part.  The recall for this repair is S 44 why was not my Vin and vehicle covered under this recall number?
