They are diming the displays when the exterior lighting conditions are still too bright for the very dim display. I have owned many GM vehicles with this type of automatic diming and this is the ONLY vehicle that has this problem. There is NO user fix available. This is a safety problem and GM needs to be forced to provide a fix.
