Has been in the toyota repair shop multiple times. Told me it was possibly the kick sensors that are activated in the cold, stay on and then run battery dead. It is currently 20 degrees outside, but was parked in the garage all night, and STILL won't start in the morning! Completely unreliable. Nearest dealership is 1 hour away from me. Kick sensors were replaced last year, battery has been checked. Still happens. The vehicle is completely unusable and unreliable. Other issue- battery is in the back of the vehicle and you cant open the back door to access the battery to charge it! You have to get an external battery charger, charge front battery to open back door then jump back battery. If I was out and about I would have no way to do that. Absolutely unacceptable and a reoccurring problem. This needs recalled. Many others online report the same issue.
