How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? I have children and they ride in that row if the seatbelts do not retract or lock they will fail in a crash. Dodge dealership has inspected vehicle on 1/3/2025 Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No warnings. Recently purchased vehicle and noticed 2nd time driving it. Front seat belts jave the same issue but are covered under an extended part warranty. This issue puts children's safety at risk and should also be covered however all we got from the dealer was an offer of a discount. This is a known issue with this year make and model that dodge is profiting off of because it is a safety issue. They should recall the vehicle for this since children could be at risk of ejection during a crash.
