Changed spark plugs. They said that I needed one of the coils changed as well. Costly job. This did not fix the issue. Took to another shop who said that the computer needed to be changed because computer was burning out the coil. Have picture of burned coil. Again, this time replaced computer and coils ( all 6 coils. $2000 fix. Almost year later again same issue. Go back to same garage, covered in warranty. Explains to me that this is something Ford is aware of and has done nothing about. Boards are shorting out coils. They replaced computer again and charged me to install. This time is lasted only 6 months. My car only has 121,000 miles on it. I should not have replaced computer 3 times in 2 years. Tell me that this is right? I cannot drive the car at all because this will cause the engine to crack. The car needs to be towed each time. Loss of power can cause accident.
