The steering wheel locked and I was unable to move the car to any shoulder. I put the car in park and pressed the start ignition button to start the car and was able to drive again.   An appointment is scheduled for 1/17/25 for diagnostics at a Mazda dealership.  There were no warning messages prior to this event..
