Experiencing increased brake pedal effort, hard brake pedal, and increased stopping distance. Confirmed by an auto shop and mechanic that this is the issue.   There was special coverage given by General Motors to this vehicle to address this issue that expired in November (but I did not know that this existed). The vehicle has not yet hit 150,000 miles.
