The traction control light also came on after a few minutes of driving. About a minute later, the vehicle began to slow from 40 to a near-complete stop in the middle of a busy road. No blinking lights or alerts. I pulled the vehicle into a parking lot and parked. The vehicle began shaking slightly. I turned off the vehicle for about 15 minutes or so and was able to drive back home with the check engine light still on.
