Had scanner used and report showed faulty alternator.  I was driving and went into a parking slot, when I put gear in park, all power went out. The it wouldn't turn on, occasionally lights would flicker on and off.  Tried to jump start it several times but it wouldn't take.  Finally got a jump, truck started but the couldn't change gears.  I have not taken it yet to get it diagnosed.  I truly feel this issue should be a recall as I had no warning whatsoever.
