I've noticed that the fuel gauge display works fine if I'm driving before 8 am during cold mornings, but it starts to malfunction or flicker until the display is frozen or blank once it's past 8 am. This problem has made it difficult for me to know when I'm low on gas as I commute a long distance for work. It's especially difficult during the cold winter months when my fuel gauge display is blank or malfunctioning 95% of the time. I've been experiencing this issue for about 3-4 years now whenever the colder seasons approach.
