At 70,000 miles consumption increased to quart every 3,000 miles. At 100,000 miles a quart every 1,000 miles. At 110,000 miles a quart every 40p to 600 miles. This is due to a very well known and documented piston ring issue. Audi offers to do nothing and while I was in warranty they claimed a quart of oil every 1,000 miles was within expected tolerance. This is ridiculous and terrible for the environment. Audi needs to stand behind their vehicles.
