When this breaks or malfunstions the car can go into 1st gear at 60+ miles and hour which could be life threatening. If the recall is for 150,000 miles it should be honored no matter the Age most everyone reports a problem around 85-120k miles. They know hw ot fix it and they know it is life threatnening here is the ford info. I am afraid ot drive my truck and cannot afford to prevent it. I bought the truck from a dealer.
