We brought it to the mechanic. The mechanic confirmed that it is a high-pressure fuel pump malfunction and a known issue with these vehicles. All the oil has leaked out because of this issue, which could cause a fire. There is a huge charge to replace this and the spark plugs which were affected by the leak. There is a recall for certain 2015 equinox is because of this very issue, however ours is not covered for some reason.  We would like to make a formal complaint so that our vehicle can be covered under this issue like the other 2015 equinox with a high-pressure fuel pump malfunction.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"EQUINOX","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
