While driving at highway speed, a sudden \u201cshotgun blast sound\u201d occurred. The interior cover was closed. Wind noise became immediately apparent. Upon stopping to inspect, the exterior sunroof glass had shattered with the appearance it blew out from the inside, as the middle section was protruding upward.   The sunroof has been used very minimally since purchasing the vehicle right at a year ago. There have been no issues with the sunroof.
