Since I am in the middle of driving on a fairly busy street I attempt to get the car moving again and step on the accelerator pedal.  The car does increase in speed but now will not stop speeding up even when I let off the gas pedal.  The speed of the vehicle keeps getting faster ON IT'S OWN.  I have to step on the brake and keep braking to get the car to slow down again.  Then it starts to \"Turtle\" again and slows to a crawl.  It step on the gas again and again the car starts to accelerate on it's own even when I let off the gas pedal.
