There was a loud explosion while driving and the vehicle no longer drove properly and I was unable to steer the vehicle.  The problem was inspected and confirmed by an independent service center.  No, it happened out of the blue while driving.  The service center could not figure out how something like this could have happened without the car being in an accident or something hitting the transfer case which did not happen.
