There has not been any warning lamps, messages or symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. It started about 2 weeks ago, it doesn't always happen, but it's happening more frequently now. I had an emergency yesterday and I couldn't get my car started.  After waiting about 10 minutes I was able to get it started, but I was afraid if I turned the car off it wouldn't start again. The problem has not been inspected by the dealership or confirmed  by an independent service center.
