At just over 60000 miles the transmission failed. I have had this car serviced regularly with no indications or warnings of any problems until it just stopped shifting normally one day. Took it to toyota and they ran a diagnostic indeed stating the transmission has to be replaced entirely. And because I am just over 60000 miles they will not honor a warranty on it. Transmissions should not go out at 62000 miles.
