My truck is currently being looked at a shop for this exact issue. GM recently recalled more than 597,000 vehicles due to engine failures, according to you, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The recall however only lists vehicles within the years of 2021-2024. My vehicle has the same engine 6.2L V8 gas as the recall and I don't find it a coincidence that I have the same EXACT engine experiencing the same EXACT issue! I attempted to speak to GM but they just kept saying my vehicle is not listed on the recall and refuse to investigate this.
