After researching, I discovered that General Motors has issued Special Coverage N232430470 for this exact issue on the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado, which uses the same LGZ engine and solenoid system. Despite the identical failure and engine design, my vehicle is not currently included in the coverage.  I believe this reflects a systemic defect that affects multiple model years \u2014 not just 2020 \u2014 and that GM is choosing to limit coverage unfairly.  This failure can result in check engine warnings, drivability issues, reduced fuel economy, and possibly emissions system non-compliance.
