The leak allows water to enter the car interior which causes mold to grow in the carpet. Also the area where the water enters is directly above the main fuse panel for the car. This was on a few week old car, essentially new from factory. The dealer confirmed there was a leak due to faulty component installation from the factory. The fresh air intake/cowl was defective.
