Emergency responders were required to extricate [XXX]from the vehicle, during which they informed her that the airbags failed to deploy\u2014a fact also documented in the official LAPD report.  The failure of the airbag system represents a significant and dangerous malfunction of the vehicle\u2019s safety features.
