The contact stated that since owning the vehicle, the battery had been replaced four times. The contact stated that the vehicle hesitated while pressing the START/STOP button. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle occasionally shut off while accelerating, forcing the contact to have the vehicle jump-started. The contact replaced the battery; however, the failure returned approximately a year later. The contact called several dealers and was informed that there were no recalls on the VIN. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to the Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) system that caused the battery to continuously drain even while the vehicle was off. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 137,000.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"HONDA","productModel":"CR-V","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
