I just recently started having issues with this problem, where my truck will downshift to 1st gear while driving at highway speeds. This nearly threw me and my two young daughters off the road. I took it to the dealership, and they told me that they are unable to help me due to the 10-year mark being passed, even though my truck has less than 103,000 miles.
