This window falling created a void causing me to have to pull over and repair it the best I could. I have since learned that Ford used double sided tape and a small amount of adhesive to attach the track to the vehicle.  I have also learned that this is a very common problem with this window track system. My truck is being inspected by Ford this morning, but I was told that there are no active recalls for this defect. There was no advance warning for this window failure.
