According to an ASE certified technician, the failure of the ABS module disabled the antilock braking system as well as the cruise control feature. This issue resulted in loss of antilock braking function and reduced overall vehicle safety. The problem was identified and confirmed by a qualified technician. These warning lights first appeared prior to the failure being diagnosed.
