The vehicle is a 2015 Honda Accord Sport, showing approximately 60,000 miles on the odometer. My mechanic performed a diagnostic scan, and everything appeared to be in good working order at the time.  However, on June 23, 2025, I went to the DMV to register the vehicle, and I was informed that the car has a fraudulent odometer reading. The DMV has opened an investigation, but I won\u2019t receive the results for a few months.  I am now concerned that the car may not be safe to drive. It emits a burnt plastic smell after being driven and turned off, which raises serious safety concerns.
