No warning lights ever came on in the dash at any time.  It was only luck that someone wasn't injur]ed or killed. Fortunately there were no other cars near, and I didn't run off the road or crash the car. I immediately drove slowly to Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas. They have the car and BMW North America is looking into it.
