I have taken it to Mazda for inspection and they say the windshield is fine. I have noticed I can get the noise to stop by apply pressure onto the windshield from inside the car. Other people have noticed this issue too. I had a suspicion the windshield is not installed well on the car  The solution was to get a new windshield which is installed well.
