I contacted my local Greenbrier Ford in Lewisburg West Virginia after pulling the code from my Hum to see what it was and was informed that there was a consumer appreciation survey that was mailed out between May 9th and May 15th 2019 that letter went to the previous owner of this VIN number and not addressed to me therefore Greenbrier Ford said that the time had passed and I had to pay $1,300.30 out of my pocket for a safety recall. After picking up the vehicle I was going through my paperwork because Greenbrier Ford has done all mechanical work on my vehicle since I purchased it in April of 2019 in July of 2019 they updated the original downshifting to first gear did not inform me nor did they inform me when I went in in May of 2025 and they updated the recall that had expired in October of 2023 regarding the letter that did not come to me as the owner but to the previous owner. I feel as though Ford should have covered this and I am actively working to get a refund on that money as I see there is a new recall out on this downshifting to first gear I would like to know how I could go about submitting for a refund.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2013","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"F-150","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
