The vehicle became immobile and was towed to the dealership. Initial diagnostics revealed difficulty shifting between 3rd and 4th gears. Service technicians attempted repair in June based on RAM TSB MC-10231775, which indicated snap ring failure in the Aisin transmission. Repairs prescribed in TSB were attempted but unsuccessful, as the vehicle still could not shift into 4th gear. Additional parts were ordered, and another repair was unsuccessfully attempted in late June.
