However, upon attempting to trade the vehicle on September 13, 2024, I learned that the outstanding loan balance exceeded the truck's value due to an illegal odometer rollback. The dealer informed me that the odometer had been rolled back prior to the auction from which they acquired the vehicle; at the time of sale, it displayed 81,000 miles but had actually accrued 268,000 miles. Despite signing the CARFAX indicating a \u201cpotential odometer rollback,\u201d I was misled regarding the vehicle\u2019s actual mileage. This significant discrepancy has caused financial distress and I believe it breaches legal statutes regarding odometer accuracy. Given the dealership\u2019s dishonesty and the impact on my financing arrangements, I am seeking a full refund for the vehicle.
