The malfunction indicator light comes on randomly, often accompanied by several warning lights including the check engine light. When this happens, the car struggles to accelerate and feels like it\u2019s stalling, creating serious safety concerns.  I\u2019m aware that there is an active recall for the same symptoms affecting the same model year of the Altima, but my vehicle is not included in the recall due to having the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine instead of the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo. Despite this, the problems I\u2019m experiencing are nearly identical to those described in the recall notice.
