It feels as though there is a release of the braking action, this is unsettling as if you are starting to approach a vehicle or pedestrian, this sudden \"delay\" of braking could result in contact with other objects. We have changed our driving behavior as a result of this. We reported this behavior at 5000 miles and there was not a solution until last year. We were not notified of this, and our vehicle is now out of warranty.  Toyota has released as of last year a TSB related to programming and we are going to pay out of pocket $300 this week to get that TSB applied. This doesn't seem fair to consumers. You can see this is not an isolated problem here: [XXX] , a 2025 and 2024. In both of those vehicles, this behavior is not present.
