The contact purchased brake fluid and added brake fluid to the brake fluid reservoir; however, the failure persisted. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken a dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the brake master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC).
