I had it replaced less than five years ago after the original one failed, which ultimately caused damage requiring a full engine replacement. Now, the replacement catalytic converter is failing again.  I\u2019ve owned my car for 11 years and have always taken good care of it. I find it extremely frustrating\u2014and financially burdensome\u2014to face potentially thousands of dollars in repairs again for what seems to be a recurring, possibly faulty issue.
