The door fails to securely close or stay latched, even when shut firmly. This poses a serious safety hazard while driving, as the door may open unexpectedly during motion or remain partially ajar.  I have not been involved in any accidents, and the vehicle is well maintained. The issue seems mechanical in nature and affects the structural integrity of the door and its latching mechanism.  I contacted an authorized Mercedes-Benz service center and was informed there is no recall. I also contacted Mercedes-Benz USA and am awaiting further response.  This is a high-end, relatively new vehicle, and a door latch failure of this kind could lead to injury or worse. I am submitting this complaint to ensure this matter is officially recorded and to urge NHTSA to investigate whether this is a wider defect.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2019","productMake":"MERCEDES-BENZ","productModel":"G 550","manufacturer":"Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC"}]}]}
