The fuel tank was no longer properly secured to the vehicle. The contact drove the vehicle back to the residence. The contact called a dealer and was informed that there had been a manufacturer program to cover the repair of the fuel tank straps due to rust however, the vehicle was not covered under the program. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure.
