My vehicle is a 2024 Ford Expedition Max, VIN [XXX] . The Ford pass app and the Ford recall site both show the remedy for the recall as \"Available\", but when I contact my dealer (Maxwell Ford in Austin, TX) they say that the repair cannot be performed because the update is not yet active in the Oasis dealer system. Ford has had months to release the software fix, but continues to delay the rollout to dealerships. Meanwhile, I have been without my vehicle because the rearview camera is unreliable and considered a safety hazard under the recall. I am paying for a new vehicle that is parked at the dealership and undriveable due to Ford's failure to provide a timely remedy. I have contacted Ford Executive Relations and their social media team, but have received no response or resolution. I am requesting that NHTSA hold Ford accountable for failing to make this safety recall fix available in a timely and transparent manner. The communication has been misleading to owners, and the delay is causing both financial and practical hardship.
