I know that they have recalls on previous models with gas filler detaching but does not show in any recalls for this SUV. I will make sure that it will not be overfilled as I only fill until pump stops itself.  We love this SUV and I am just worried for my family's safety. Honda had always been great about recalls. Hope that this was not an operator error.
