The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed with fuel pressure sensor failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V683000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance.
