The most recent incident occurred about three months ago. After opening the sunroof, the glass panel would not close, leaving the vehicle fully exposed during heavy rain. I had to cover the opening with plastic and tape while standing in the rain, which caused water to enter the vehicle and led to illness from exposure.  This failure poses safety risks, including:  Driver distraction if the failure occurs while driving.  Possible water damage to electrical components, potentially affecting vehicle operation.  Reduced visibility in heavy rain.  Security risks if the vehicle cannot be secured.  Online research and discussions with other owners revealed that this problem appears to be relatively common with Toyota Camry models equipped with a panoramic roof. My initial repair estimate was approximately $12,000, which is unreasonable given the vehicle\u2019s value. I ultimately had the sunroof permanently sealed shut at my own expense.  I have video evidence and documentation from both incidents, including an earlier occurrence on August 29, 2020, which was reported to a Toyota dealer but dismissed at the time. I believe this should be investigated as a potential recall.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2020","productMake":"TOYOTA","productModel":"CAMRY","manufacturer":"Toyota Motor Corporation"}]}]}
