The airbag warning light continues to illuminate intermittently. I have had the issue looked at multiple times by my mechanic. He has replaced parts underneath the seat in an effort to resolve the problem, but the warning light still returns. At times, the light will go off temporarily, only to come back on again later. I have noticed that the only way the light sometimes changes is when I move the seat back and forth. There is no other visible damage underneath the seat, and no other cause has been identified.
